Life Beyond the Blueprint
Tomorrow, June 15, the Blueprint for a Safer Economy tier system will dissolve, and with it, capacity and distancing restrictions for most businesses and activities. However, all Californians will continue to follow:


We recommend reading the California Department of Public Health Guidance for the Use of Face Coverings (effective June 15). It outlines guidance for individuals; businesses, venue operators or hosts; and exemptions to masks requirements.

Please note that employers must continue to follow:


Cal/OSHA will consider revisions to its ETS regulations at its June 17 board meeting. If during the meeting, Cal/OSHA elects to align its rules with the state’s guidelines for reopening (which is expected), Governor Newsom stated he will make an executive order to immediately allow vaccinated workers to remove face coverings while unvaccinated workers continue to wear masks. Without the executive order, Cal/OSHA’s new rules would not go into effect until at least June 28.

In the meantime, the protections adopted in November of 2020 remain in effect.
