The Center for Pregnancy Concerns (CPC) is a 42-year-old local, non-political, non-denominational Christian ministry of hope and life. Our mission is to protect the physical, emotional, and spiritual lives of women and their unborn children.
CPC operates three locations. Our headquarters, Options@328, is situated next to Planned Parenthood on Howard Street in downtown Baltimore. Here we offer a safe and welcoming space to serve women and families five days a week. Women can access free pregnancy testing, viability sonograms, abortion pill reversal, advocacy, links to community resources, and information on all pregnancy options to empower women to make informed choices. Then, when women choose life, we walk alongside them with advocacy, referrals to community resources, free parenting educational classes, and material assistance like formula, diapers, and wipes. The women we serve come to us from all over the Greater Baltimore area.
To best serve pregnant women in need, CPC employs full-time medical staff who are on-sie 5-days a week (R.N. and R.D.M.S.) to answer women's medical questions. We also have bilingual advocates who work with women who do not speak English as their primary language. Approximately 40% of all Hispanic women we serve need translation assistance.
Our urban pregnancy center sees many marginalized women. They are the migrant, the unemployed, the uninsured, women living below the poverty line, women who are homeless, addicted, or victims of trafficking, plus they are pregnant!
