Rancho Bernardo Community Foundation
Awards Grant for Distance Learning
The Rancho Bernardo Community Foundation recently awarded a COVID-19 Recovery Grant to Poway Unified School District Foundation in the amount of $5,000. The funds will provide distance learning resources for the most vulnerable and underserved students in Rancho Bernardo.

While last year the district was able to distribute Chromebooks to students, the PUSD Foundation continues to raise funds for one-to-one devices, software, and hotspots since many students have elected to choose learning options that include remote and distance learning for the remainder of this term and next school year. Having the funds to provide students with distance learning devices and internet connectivity will ensure that all students have equitable access to the tools and resources they need to learn virtually.
