What momentous things happened in 2003?
The Space Shuttle Columbia disintegrated on re-entry, killing all seven crew members on board. The supersonic passenger jet Concorde made its final flight. The Do Not Call List was introduced.
And the Central Florida Christian Chamber of Commerce held its first gathering.
Those Christian business leaders understood the importance of building faith-based relationships in the marketplace, and they made a commitment to create and build a community where that could happen.
This Thursday, we're going to celebrate the Chamber's birthday and party like it's 2003!
There will be stories about the "good old days." Two special guests will share memories of that first gathering. And, of course, we'll hear from former Chamber President Mark Goldstein.
Our keynote speaker, Martijn van Tilborgh, will deliver a powerful message with proven keys to multiply your influence, impact, and income.
The need for a Christian business community was strong then, and it's even stronger now. And while the Chamber has changed over the past two decades, one thing has remained constant: Christ is at the center of all we do.
The Christian Chamber is good for business and
great for Kingdom advancement!
