"Although the main character is Peruvian, and the universe is mostly New York City, I would like to believe that many of these essays are intertwined with immigration experiences of people of other nationalities and cities other than mine."

Lehman alumnus Hiram Kasten passed away on Sunday, June 16 at the age of 71.

A stand-up comedian, Kasten studied theatre while at Lehman and went on to appear on TV shows like Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm. To remember him, here's a look back at a workshop he conducted a decade ago with theatre majors.
