Closures

All offices, senior activity centers, and senior nutrition sites will be closed on Thursday, March 20th due to our annual staff training and development meeting. We will reopen on Friday, March 21st. Thank you for your understanding.

Information & Assistance Outreach

March 3rd - 10:00am-12:00pm

Join an Information & Assistance specialist from the Department of Aging & Disabilities to discuss community resources and programs available for older adults. No registration required.


AARP Safe Driving Course

March 10th - 9:00am-2:00pm

Join an AARP instructor for a course that teaches valuable defensive driving techniques and provides a refresher about the rules of the road to keep your daily commute a safe commute. $20 for AARP Member/$25 for non-AARP Member. Must bring proof of AARP membership. Registration required.

Are you a new member that's interested in using the fitness equipment?

Join instructor Louise Mulvey to learn how to safely use all fitness equipment. This class is mandatory for new members prior to use of the equipment.

Paint Party: "Golden Gown"

March 5th - 1:00-3:00pm

Join artist Scott Clarke in making these simple yet dynamic designs! Scott will guide you through the techniques so you can render your own masterpiece, perfect for display. There is a $5 supply fee payable at sign up. Cash only. Sponsored by PSI.


Gadget Guru by Biba

Every Wednesday in March - 10:00am-12:00pm

Join Pascal’s intern, Biba Rguibi, to get help with your cell phone or tablet. She will be available to ask questions and troubleshoot your device. (No computers or laptops please). Appointments preferred, but walk-ins welcome.


Free Vision & Hearing Screenings

March 26th - 9:00am-12:00pm

The Anne Arundel County Department of Health will be visiting the center to conduct vision and hearing screenings for center members. Individuals must sign up at the front desk for an appointment. Only one appointment is needed to receive both screenings. Registration required.

If you're considering adding supplements to your wellness plan, it’s essential to make informed choices, knowing what’s right for your unique needs, understanding potential side effects, and being aware of interactions with medications or health conditions are all crucial steps. A group to connect with others who have recently experienced a loss. Participants may find help and guidance through emotional support, validation, and education about grief. Registration required.

PSI presents a $5 pancake, sausage, and orange juice breakfast for Pascal members. Space is limited. Registration required. Limit one breakfast per person. Dress for Mardi Gras!

Making Life Better!

Membership

The Pascal Senior Activity Center offers free membership to individuals 55 and over who are active, self-sufficient, and able to function independently. For more information, visit us in person or give us a call at 410-222-6680 for additional information about classes and activities.

The Senior Nutrition Program

The Senior Nutrition Program (SNP) serves meals at the senior activity centers Monday through Friday at noon. To reserve a meal, you may visit the SNP site aide desk, speak with senior activity center staff, or call 410-222-0256. Please reserve your meal at least 3 days in advance. Donations are always welcomed! Please consider helping us support the Congregate Meal Program to continue providing nutritious and delicious meals to all we serve!

Accommodations

Anyone needing accommodations must contact Katy Owings at 410-222-6680 or agowin23@aacounty.org at least 7 days in advance of the event. TTY users, please call via Maryland relay 7-1-1. All materials are available in alternate formats upon request.
