Beginning Tuesday, July 21st, Clean Air Express passes will be available for purchase at the Vons Lompoc and Vons Santa Maria as well as through the mail. Order forms are also now available in Spanish. See details below.

We remind all Clean Air Express  customers  to please travel only if absolutely necessary. Passengers are required to wear masks at all times while onboard Clean Air Express buses.

Pass Outlets Re-Opening July 21
Beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, July 21st, 10-ride and monthly passes can be purchased at the Vons Lompoc and Vons Santa Maria. These two locations accept cash and check only. Store hours for purchasing a Clean Air Express pass may be limited, please confirm with store staff.
You may still purchase your pass through the mail. One-way cash fares can be paid on the bus.

Please remember, for passes by mail, p ayment must be received by SBCAG at least eight (8) business days before the start of the following month  in order to allow time to receive the pass before the month begins. For 10-ride passes, please allow 8 business days to receive your passes.

August monthly pass orders by mail must be received by SBCAG by

WageWorks customers: Did you order an August pass that you no longer need? In recognition of the changing circumstances for many returning to work, WageWorks has agreed to accept returned August passes and credit your purchase towards a future month. August monthly passes that you do not need must be postmarked by August 5 th to receive credit.

Again, your returned pass MUST be postmarked by August 5 th . SBCAG and WageWorks cannot process refunds if it is after this date. 
Masks Required Reminder
In accordance with the Health Officer of the County of Santa Barbara's  Health Officer Order No. 2020-10 , face coverings are required to be worn when using public transit in Santa Barbara County. Masks are required when boarding, riding and disembarking from all Clean Air Express buses.

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) are conducting a review of our agency's transportation planning process during the month beginning July 13, 2020. This is part of a transportation management area certification process that is required every four years by federal law. The process reviews adherence to federal statutes and regulations in order to maintain eligibility for federal funding.

Public participation is a part of this certification review process. The public is invited to share their opinions or views of the transportation planning process in Santa Barbara County by providing written comments via email to Antonio Johnson, FHWA at .

The public comment period will be open for 30 days, beginning on July 13, 2020, and ending on August 12, 2020.
