Dear Bolivar Alumni,

It is with heavy hearts that we inform you of the passing of Mrs. Inge Koele, who served Colegio Bolivar with dedication and passion from 1964 to 1997.

Mrs. Koele began as a kindergarten teacher, later becoming a primary teacher, counselor, and eventually the Middle School Principal. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering commitment to education touched countless lives across generations of students, faculty, and staff.

Her influence on the Colegio Bolivar community is immeasurable. Mrs. Koele’s passion for learning, her ability to connect with others, and her inspiring leadership have left a lasting legacy that will always be remembered.

We are fortunate to have an interview with Mrs. Koele conducted by alumni Laura Mejía and Iván Peláez, where she shared her insights and experiences. Additionally, Mrs. Koele chronicled her incredible journey in a book about her life, offering us a lasting glimpse into her remarkable story.

Let us honor her memory by celebrating her remarkable contributions and the profound impact she had on our school.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her children, Vicky and Robert, and the entire Koele family during this time of loss. May we find comfort in knowing she departed peacefully.
