We are very saddened to report the passing of brother Sir Knight Otto J. Romanino on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the age of 89.
Otto was a Fourth Degree member of our Order, joining our Council in 2007 and Mother Cabrini Assembly #1572 in 2011. Otto was a very active member of both the Council and the Assembly, and was beloved by his brother Knights and members of the Ladies Auxiliary.
Otto was honored by our Council at our 52nd Annual Dinner Dance and Awards as the 2023 Knight of the Year for his dedicated service to our Council and our Order, as well as his service to our country in the United States Navy, and to our community through diverse and longstanding efforts including participation in the Carmel Rams Football "Chain Gang," as a Cub Scout Leader, Little League coach, and Trustee and Treasurer for the Kent Public Library. Our Ladies Auxiliary paid their own tribute to Otto that night, including a memorable marshmallow war that carried over from the banquet hall into the Hospitality Suite late into the night.
Otto's full obituary may be accessed by clicking here.
