We are saddened to announce the passing of our dear Sister Rasha Nabil Mostafa Ghoneim earlier today. Sister Rasha and her husband Dr. Yassin Mohamed are very dear community members of Dar-us-Salaam, having moved from Alabama to put their children in Al-Huda School.
We ask Allaah to open the doors of jannah for Sister Rasha, and to accept her sinless into His Mercy. We ask that Allaah grant a beautiful patience to Dr. Yassin and to their children, and to all of their family members.
The janaza prayer for Sister Rasha will be tomorrow, Friday, immediately following juma' prayer at Dar-us-Salaam / Al-Huda School, located at 5301 Edgewood Road, College Park, MD 20740. Juma' prayer will be at 12:30pm at Al-Huda School tomorrow.
Burial will be at the Al-Firdaus Memorial Gardens, 3845 New Design Road, Frederick MD 21703 following the janaza prayer.
Dr. Yassin and his family will accept condolences at Dar-us-Salaam on Saturday, 11/30/2019, from 3pm-5pm. Asr iqama will be at 3:15pm in shaa Allaah.
Please carpool as much as possible.
NOTE: The juma' held at our satellite location - the Knights of Columbus on Cherry Hill Road - will be at the normal time of 1:10pm.
