We hope this finds you enjoying today off with family and friends, maybe sitting around the table laughing over cider or playing games while you wait for a beautiful dinner. This is our first year of not hosting Thanksgiving. We have been invited to our daughter's house. My favorite statement of the week was, "Mom, I have renewed respect for the amount of work this has required." My work here is done.
Thanksgiving
The year has turned its circle,
The seasons come and go.
The harvest all is gathered in
And chilly north winds blow.
Orchards have shared their treasures,
The fields, their yellow grain,
So open wide the doorway~

Pass the hosting baton. And the stuffing. Wait. Is it stuffing or dressing? Either way, how about Friday you bring your stuffed-self to FGS for all things red and green? We have plenty of holiday cheer just for you and the perfect festive trees and wreaths. Don't forget the poinsettias! They are simply magical!
