Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----
Exodus 12:12-14
"On that night I will go through the land of Egypt, killing every first-born male, both human and animal, and punishing all the gods of Egypt. I am the LORD. The blood on the doorposts will be a sign to mark the houses in which you live. When I see the blood, I will pass over you and will not harm you when I punish the Egyptians. You must celebrate this day as a religious festival to remind you of what I, the LORD, have done. Celebrate it for all time to come."
This coming Saturday - April 12 - at Sunset Jerusalem time - the Passover Feast (Pesach) will be celebrated across Israel, and in most Jewish homes across the globe.
But this is also the day we as Christians remember when our Lord Jesus (Yeshua) was crucified - now almost 2000 years ago - fulfilling the Passover feast that day. And thus, when we celebrate this feast now - we must remind ourselves also of what our Lord went through for us - and look at the deeper Prophetic meaning behind it all.
As the Blood was applied on the Door Posts as well as the Lintel and dripped down to the ground at the doorstep, it also shows how the Blood of Jesus was dripping from the Cross, when Jesus was nailed to the cross.
And today, we need to understand how to Apply the Blood of Jesus in our lives today - which is not through a physical applying on the door posts of our homes anymore, but instead through Communion, and Placing our Plea on the Blood through FAITH in the Finished Work of the Cross - standing in FAITH and Full Assurance & Reliance on the VICTORY Jesus accomplished for us through all His suffering.
Colossians 2:13-15
And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, has He quickened together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
Hebrews 10:19-23
Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which He has consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, His flesh; And having an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised)
And this coming Saturday, April 12 starting @ 12noon EST / 7:00pm Jerusalem time - we will be joining Apostles Steven & Joyce Lazar from Yeshua Messiah Ministries and Ps Chuck Reich from Overcomers TV - as well as a number of other speakers as part of A Passover Encounter with Yeshua - looking at this very topic of how the original Passover was fulfilled through Jesus / Yeshua's death on the cross. There will also be a time of Worship, and sharing of Scriptures - and thus a time not to be missed.
