Over 75 Years Old and Need a Face Mask? Beth El Can Help!
One of the preventive measures recommended by the CDC (the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) is the use of a face mask when you leave your home to walk or to grocery shop. We realize that face masks are difficult to find since most vendors are serving our healthcare workers and medical first responders. However, through HAZAK and our Caring Community, we have located a supplier and can help you. If you are in need of a face mask, please email Pam Schlosberg below, or call (847) 691-8991.
Beth El's Caring Outreach
Beth El is standing together in these challenging days with caring and support. Through HAZAK, we’re setting up an outreach call network to let our membership know we are thinking about them and offer assistance if needed with shopping. If you want to help with this program please contact either Jackie Melinger , Pam Schlosberg , or Stacy Goldsmith .
Shopping Support

For your own safety, and the safety of your loved ones, we encourage you to consider having your groceries delivered to your home, or brought out to your car. Click the link below for more information.

Rabbi Alex Freedman summarizes the five key points to Parashat Shmini. It summarizes many laws regarding Kashrut, including the prohibition on eating pork. What's our beef with the pig? Why is that animal seemingly less Kosher than any other?
