A Note From Pastor Amy
Thank you to all those who filled out the congregational survey. Hearing your thoughts was very helpful. Session is still making plans to meet for in-person worship in the Sanctuary starting on September 13. However, we recognize that current health data might change with the re-opening of schools and colleges. We will continue to monitor the situation and will respond accordingly. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility. We will be giving more details and information regarding worship in the coming weeks.

I shared the following video message with the members of our music ministry yesterday outlining plans for our music ministry in the Fall. Please feel free to watch it for an update. Our church will continue to give updates about Fall plans as committees continue to meet over the next several weeks.

Thanks for your continued support of our church and our ministries.

Resources for Spiritual Practices
The Center for Action and Contemplation publishes a daily meditation often following a theme for week
or more. The current theme is “Order, Disorder, Reorder.” The website will take you to a listing of the reflections year to date with the most recent of top. The meditation for Tuesday, August 18 is titled “The Disorder of Dismantling Racism.” It is applicable to individuals, as well as churches. Click HERE.

“The Grace of Being Wrong” is a devotional based on John 1:45-46 written by seminary professor and preacher Mary Luti. It is designed for a small group discussion. Share with your family or a friend. Together read the text, reflection and share your responses to the three questions posed at this site. Click HERE.

“Our Gifts are Not the Same as Our Talents” is a devotional by Henri Nouwen. Click HERE. Make a list of your gifts. How are you using them to serve others as stewards of God? What other ways might they be shared?

People are welcome to join the class at anytime. Please let Pastor Amy know if you'd like to join the study so you can be included in the group's emails.
