We have been saddened to learn of the death of Pastor Dan Lozer on Sunday afternoon.
Dan's main career was pastoral work, working all over the Midwest, but later he also taught some college courses, primarily sociology. Dan and Donna were united in marriage on June 18, 2004 at Mayflower Congregational United Church of Christ in Sioux City, IA. He served as Pastor at Mayflower Congregational United Church of Christ in Sioux City, IA since April 2005 and also as Pastor at Associated Church of Hawarden, IA since October 2009.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2015 from 4-7pm at Carlsen's Funeral Home,107 12th St SE, LeMars, IA 51031. People are encouraged to bring photos, notes, memories, to add to his memorial book for his wife Donna and family. Please keep Dan's family in your prayers as you give thanks for his life and ministry.
