Retirement Celebration

Join us on Sunday, August 2, at 9:30 a.m. in the Life Center as we thank Jeff Schlatter for his many years of service in taking care of our building and grounds! It would be great if everyone brought a card or left a note that shows Jeff how very much we all appreciate all that he has done for Redeemer and its members. A basket will be on the Welcome Desk in the coming days if you want to leave your card or note there as well. Hope to have a great turnout for Jeff!

Redeemer Night at Elevate

Redeemer reserved Elevate Trampoline Park in Peoria on Sunday, August 9th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. This event is completely FREE for Redeemer family and friends with a donation of canned goods to support our Care Ministry’s Food Pantry.

Please make sure to bring your paper waiver as they will not be available at the park.

RightNow Media Series

RightNow Media is a wonderful resource available to our members offering a wide range of topics. Every month we plan to suggest a video series and provide a guide for individual learning and reflection.

Our recommendation for July is: Carved in Stone: A Creationist Road Trip Across America

What if the American landscape is not simply the result of millions of years of slow erosion, but a dramatic testimony to God’s judgment, preservation, and renewal?

In Carved in Stone, scientists from the Institute for Creation Research travel across America to examine geological evidence connected to the worldwide flood described in Genesis 7. From the massive sediment layers of the Grand Canyon to marine fossils found high above sea level, this video study explores how the rocks beneath our feet may point back to the extraordinary events recorded in Scripture.

Each session highlights fascinating features of our continent, including rapidly deposited rock layers, widespread fossil graveyards, broad sheet erosion, and landscapes shaped by powerful moving water. The study also considers how creation recovered after catastrophe, reminding us that God not only judges sin, but also preserves life and brings renewal.

Through five engaging sessions, each approximately 14 minutes long, you’ll hear from ICR scientists Timothy Clarey, Brian Thomas, and Randy Guliuzza as they challenge evolutionary assumptions and offer a perspective consistent with the Bible’s account of creation.

Join us as we look at the evidence carved into the earth itself and consider how God’s creation continues to declare His power, faithfulness, and truth.

If you do not yet have a RightNowMedia account, see Jeff Shoumaker to be linked with Redeemer’s subscription.
