Pastor's e-Note
March 30, 2021
Dear Friends,

We are journeying through the Holy Week and Easter. For us Christians, this is a very intense and moving time as we remember what Jesus had to go through to bring salvation to us. “Christ’s Self-Giving Love” is the key expression during this sacred time. We all remember his own words: “There is no greater love than giving up your life for your friend.”

On Good Friday, he gave up his life on the cross for all of us. By doing so, he turned the cross from being the sign of judgment and death into a new symbol of grace! And more than that, he rose from the dead and showed us that God’s love never fails and conquers sin and death.

Let us journey through the Holy Week with the attitude of gratitude, and enter the Easter season with an increased appreciation for who God is and what God has done for us in Christ Jesus. On Easter morning, we’ll sing together one of our favorite hymns, “Christ the Lord Is Risen Today” as we celebrate the joy of Resurrection and the promises of eternity.

Grace and peace,

Rev. Jennifer
This Week's Scripture: John 11:25
