Pastor's e-Note
October 13, 2020
Dear BUMC Family and Friends,
Greetings in the peace and joy of Christ! We are clearly in the middle of the autumn season. There is a movement in my spirit that is inspiring me to go deeper with God in my daily prayer. I pause from my busy ministry to be more in tune with God and give thanks to God for all the blessings in my life. I hope you can find the time to count your blessings.
On behalf of our pastoral staff, I thank you for all your support and prayers. Rev. June Tamburro and I want to share with each of you our deep gratitude for the pastor appreciation gifts we have received this past week. Thank you for your very thoughtful and generous gifts. We are truly grateful to serve with you and among you in this wonderful congregation.
This coming Sunday is Laity Sunday. We will recognize and celebrate all the lay leaders and members of our church. In other words, we will rejoice in “the work of the people” at BUMC. We are creating a healthy and vibrant team spirit among us. Every member is an integral part of what we do together as God’s beloved community. Thank you for who you are, what you do, and how you serve our church.
My prayer for you today is that during this autumn season, you will come to experience God’s grace even more deeply, intimately, and powerfully. So be it, Lord.
Peace and Grace,

Rev. Jennifer
This Week's Scripture - I Peter 3:8
