We're Extending 24-Hour Adoration for 1 Weekend!

This month, January 19-21, 2024, Fr. Patrick is hosting a retreat here on campus for some of the St. Timothy team members and leadership. A key element to this retreat is to have other members of the parish praying for these retreatants and the success of this retreat before the Blessed Sacrament. It is vital to have people praying. We are in need of Adorers from 9 pm on Friday, January 19, 2024 all the way through 4 pm on Sunday, January 21, 2024. Especially important are those overnight hours. Please sign up here.

Mass for the Unborn at Christ Cathedral

On January 22, 2024, Bishop Vann invites all the Catholic community to observe the day as a Day of Reparation. While the Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion nationwide was overturned in June of 2022, many state and federal laws are still hostile to unborn children and many lack sufficient support for women, children, and families in need. So Catholics are encouraged to practice fasting, abstinence, and prayer on that day.

Bishop Vann also invites our Catholic community as well as all people of good will to join together with Bishop Nguyen in prayer for an end to abortion, healing for those involved in abortion, the protection of unborn children, our radical solidarity in walking with moms and all in need, and a renewed respect for all human life at the Mass for the Protection of Unborn Children on Monday, January 22, 2024. The Mass will begin at 7:00 p.m. at Christ Cathedral, 13280 Chapman Avenue, Garden Grove. The Mass will be followed by a “Walking with Moms” Ministry fair in the Cultural Center.
