This week marked the end of another fabulous year of children's summer camps. My younger two kids participated in Fusion and Cross-Trainers, and I can personally attest that we have an incredible Children's ministry staff who all work together to make these experiences an opportunity to experience God's love and grace while also having an absolute blast. Please join me in offering sincere gratitude to all the dedicated staff members, interns, and volunteers who worked tirelessly to make this year's camp experiences so wonderful!
Our ASP (Appalachia Service Project) Youth Mission Team will leave before the break of dawn
this Sundaymorning. My husband, Aaron, and daughter, Gabrielle, will be part of the 28 member Youth Ministry Team that is traveling to the Appalachian mountains to serve those in need through home repair and other related projects. Please join me in praying for the team's safety, that their time on mission will be a blessing for those they serve, and that each member of the team will experience God's presence and power.
As we continue to explore the letter to the Ephesians in our current sermon series,
Together for the Sake of the World,
we will be focusing on chapter 5:15-21. Here, the author is reminding us to stay alert and encouraged by working together and enabling one another to find joy in the midst of trying circumstances by learning how to "Whistle While You Work." Look forward to seeing you
