It's hard to believe another school year is almost over and the summer is upon us! To recognize this milestone, we will celebrating our graduating high school seniors in worship, and specifically inviting them to come forward during our prayer time at the 9:40 worship service. There will also be a reception provided for them by our United Methodist Women in the Atrium following that service. If you are able to attend either the 9:40 worship service or join these amazing young people during the reception, I am confident that your prayers and your presence will be an encouragement to these amazing young people and their families.
During each of the services, we will be exploring 1 John 1:5-10 and what it means for us to live our most authentic lives in the light of Christ. If you are able to join us at the conclusion of the 11:00 worship service, we will be stacking all of the chairs in the worship center to make space for Vacation Bible School (VBS) which kicks off bright and early Monday morning. Please join me in praying for all the children, youth, and adults who will be a part our VBS experience this year. May it be a means of God's grace for everyone involved, including treasured moments of laughter, wonder, and joy!
In addition, I pray that you will find the space and time during these warm summer months for sacred renewal and sabbath rest. Hope to see you Sunday!
