Reverend Raju Chebattina [Chalottetown, PE, Canada], to Parochial Vicar of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, Land O' Lakes, effective February 20, 2023.

Policy Regarding Special Collections and Parish Missions
During the coming weeks, many of your parishes will have parish missions where guest presenters are invited to speak to the people of your parish communities. Sometimes, invited presenters request special collections payable directly to them, or they might provide special envelopes so that contributions are sent to their mission organization. 

When arranging for upcoming parish missions, please take a few minutes to review the long-standing policy of the Diocese, involving the handling of funds for such presentations on this link. Dispensation for Friday, March 17, 2023
In response to multiple requests for a dispensation from the obligation of abstinence from meat on Friday, March 17, 2023 (Optional Memorial of St. Patrick), Bishop Parkes has announced that a General Dispensation from this obligation has been granted for members of the faithful in the Diocese of St. Petersburg. A copy of the Decree of Dispensation may be found at this link.
