Mary Help of Christians Church and the co-located Good Shepherd Chapel together house over 700 relics, including a relic of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus, those of

Mary and Joseph, the apostles, 26 doctors of the church, 65 popes, and many saints,

both well-known and barely known. The church is located at 6400 E Chelsea St, Tampa, and is open weekdays from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm and weekends 9:00 am – 6:00 pm.

Please call before visiting: 813-626-7588, as there are events such as funerals or retreats that may close the church temporarily. A guide and talk can be arranged by emailing relics@mhctampa.org. Come experience the Communion of the Saints!

For the Faithful Departed

Let us keep the souls and the families of the faithful departed in our prayers:

  • Mrs. Mary Blaney, wife of the late Deacon Jim Blaney, St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, Palm Harbor

  • Mrs. Ruth Stentz, grandmother of Brittany DeHaan, Communications Coordinator, Diocesan Office of Communications

May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed

by the mercy of God, rest in peace!
