April 14- Drive-Up Holy Thursday Communion and Prayer

5-6pm (church parking lot)

On the night before he died, Jesus celebrated his last meal with his followers. He invites us to his table, and every time we come, we remember his love and sacrifice for us. Communion and prayer will be offered to all.

Follow Jesus from his trial to the cross. You’ll walk through the church campus to stations we have set up for prayer and reflection, a spiritual pilgrimage that follows the last journey of Christ to the cross.

9:30am: Contemporary worship in the sanctuary. Easter Egg Hunt follows the service for all kids.

11:30am: Traditional worship in the sanctuary. Easter Egg Hunt follows the service! I can’t wait to celebrate the Risen Lord with you. And I look forward to meeting the family and friends and neighbors you will ask to join you in this glorious season!

Dear Church Family

Easter is just a few weeks away! I can’t wait. The fasting and expectation of Lent are making me long for the joy and hope of Easter.

The Easter Season is a time of year when folks who don’t normally come to church are open to an invitation. I bet you have friends and neighbors who don’t have a church home. Make a plan to invite them to Palm Sunday, Easter, or any of our Holy Week services.

Also- if you don’t typically worship on Holy Thursday or Good Friday, consider joining us this year. The joy and victory of Easter is sweetest when we know the cost and sacrifice of our Savior on Thursday and Friday. The Stations of the Cross was especially beloved last year. It’s self-paced, so you can come as your schedule permits and spend as long as you like.

I can’t wait to celebrate the Risen Lord with you. And I look forward to meeting the family and friends and neighbors you will ask to join you in this glorious season!

Fat Tuesday & Ash Wednesday

Imposition of ashes was humbling; over 100 cars drove into our parking lot seeking ashes and prayers. Our community is seeking Jesus and we were able to welcome them.

Over 300 souls were touched by the drive thru ashes, the noon service and hospital visits on Ash Wednesday - Praise God!

WOW KIDS

Our WOW kids had the privilege of learning about the beautiful meaning of communion by our very own pastors. Pastor Laura and Pastor Jon both taught our children the importance of communion. Our kids are so blessed!

FUMC Day School

Did you know that the day school children have chapel every Wednesday morning? Mrs. Lee Ann not only teaches them how special the Bible is, or how much Jesus loves them, but she also teaches them to praise God through music with singing and dancing. Click on the buttons below to hear their beautiful voices.
