Janet Irene Hicks Bethune

August 22, 1947 - October 2, 2025

Long-time Good Shepherd parishioner, Janet Bethune, wife of Richard (Dick) Bethune, mother of Caroline Bethune Trahan (Brad) and Richard Bethune (Julia) and grandmother to four, passed away on October 2.

A celebration of Janet's life will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 231 N. Church St., Rocky Mount, NC 27804 with a reception following until 1:00 p.m.

And let light perpetual shine upon her.

May her soul and the souls of all the departed,
