This Sunday is the 18th Sunday after Pentecost
Robert Alexander will be preaching his sermon based on Luke 17:11-19.
This Sunday we will give thanks for the baptism of Lela Byrd Taft, daughter of Marshall and Cayce Taft at the 8:30 worship service.
The music will be provided by David Brinson, Sarah Lynch, The Chancel and Geneva Choirs, and the Music Team.
There is a traditional 8:30 service in Lingle Chapel, an informal service at 9:30 in the Sanctuary and a traditional service at 11:00 in the sanctuary. All services are also live-streamed to Facebook and YouTube including a Live Chat feature. The 11:00 service will also air on WDAV (89.9 or WDAV.org). Free childcare is provided.
Sunday School for Adults meet at 9:45 a.m.
Covenant Class- Chris Marsicano, Davidson College Professor of Educational Studies and Director of the Institute for Public Good, will lead the first in a 3-part series on "Higher Education in America." The first session will focus on the challenges facing higher education ranging from access and equity concerns to academic freedom and the role AI will play in the future. The class meets in Davidson College’s Watson Building in Room 119.

Sunday for Youth
Donuts & Devotion 9:45am-10:45am - 6th-12th graders hangout on Sunday mornings in the Burris Gathering Space to catch up, eat a donut, and do a short devotion together. Youth Group - 5:30pm-7pm - On Sunday nights, 6th-12th graders connect with God and each other through dinner, games, and Bible study. Meet in the Congregation House.
