What's with all the news about Realtors?

Last week, the National Association of Realtors reached a settlement that's been in the news ever since. I've seen an incredible amount of misinformation about this online and on television. People are calling for eliminating buyers agents and dismantling the current system. The bottom line is, there will be some changes that come out of this regarding the financial side of a transaction. But, the value of a knowledgeable and trustworthy agent has not changed. More than ever, both sides of a deal need great representation to be competitive and to be protected.

For anyone to maintain a successful business, their duty is to continually provide exceptional value. That's it. And it must be done everyday. That's my job, my pledge, and what I do for my clients. I don't have a salary or benefits, nor does anyone give me my leads. I have to earn it all (which I love!). For most of my clients, their home is their largest asset.
