ARGENTINA #37

RED STAG IN THE PATAGONIAN MOUNTAINS

With its beautiful scenery and target rich environment, this is a different hunting experience. Located in the South West of Argentina in Neuquén province. Hunters will find this country vast and open, making it easy to spot game from high vantage points. The largest city in this area is San Carlos de Bariloche.

This isolated and beautiful hunting area was one of the first to receive the red stag introduction in the country more than one hundred years ago with just the best of the best trophy quality available at that time. They found a perfect habitat to thrive very rapidly, reaching the big number of them that are now roaming around in total free range. We are proud to hunt those totally wild stags that descend from the first herds that inhabited these mountains without any contact with the human beings.

Hunts can be conducted from 4WD trucks, by foot or on horseback.

During your visit you will enjoy:

•          Superb trophy quality and abundance game.

•          Breath-taking landscapes.

•          Professional guides.

•          Comfortable accommodations and gourmet cuisine.

•          Fine Argentinean wine.

Hunting in Argentina is not just an activity but a true experience that you will cherish for a lifetime.

MEXICO #280

TROPHY MULE DEER

This area in Mexico has received an exceptional amount of rain this year. The outfitter and Hunt Nation think this is the year to go hunt Big Desert Mule Deer. The horn growth will be exceptional this year, and his food plots and improved water storage are paying off, and holding deer on the property.

Much of the terrain is relatively flat or rolling, but there are also plenty of mountains and high volcanic domes to keep things interesting, especially if you are glassing from them down into the cactus flats. But normally you will be “High Racking”, meaning you will be in the back of the truck watching for deer. Deer numbers are very low in the desert; much of the terrain is flat and dense with cactus, and many miles must often be driven to find the “right” deer. Hunters sometimes get very frustrated with looking over the same country again and again, BUT those giants are there, and they can cover a lot of ground looking for does. A giant can appear at any time – it is critical to be ready and to shoot fast but accurately. Realize too that big bucks must be on their feet for you to see them. Lying down in the brush is where they spend most of their time. So be patient and understand how the game is done.

Mule deer hunters will enjoy an average size of 170"+, with realistic potential of giant bucks if luck and patience pay off, and it is no surprise this destination has one of our highest return rates of any hunt that we offer. Hunt Nation has personally hunted here many times, and the owners/operators are some of the best people you can find south of the border.

2026 PRICES (subject to change without notice until deposit received)

Mule Deer Pricing: $12,500 with $4,500 refund if buck is not harvested, or wounded. (you will not find another place in Mexico that offers this)

They have a large population of wild turkeys (2-bird limit) and have been running 100% opportunity on the first bird, and most hunters will fill their second tag as well.

2026 DATES: Availability in both April and May/2026

NEW MEXICO #90

2025 BULL ELK HUNTS- DEEP DISCOUNTS UP TO $2500

This northwest New Mexico (around Chama) outfitter has been featured on numerous television shows with many well-known hunting celebrities. We have sent countless clients to him over the 15+ years we’ve been working with him, with very high success. He is one of our absolute favorites, with a reputation for honesty, hard work and producing elk. This is a high-success hunt for 5x5 and 6x6 bulls. Most will be 270”-290”, with a few 300+”. Most are solid mature bulls, but every year is different, usually due to moisture.

Many of the ranches this outfitter hunts are lower-lying private ground with areas of parks and meadows, scattered water tanks, and conifers, making for fairly easy terrain for those of us who can’t quite climb the way we once could. But he has properties on a few different migration corridors, and bit of snow can make for a really great hunt as the elk start moving and “fresh” bulls wander onto these ranches. In fact, they sometimes take some of their biggest bulls of the year on their late-season hunts.

ALL ELK HUNTS INCLUDE GUARANTEED PRIVATE LAND ELK AUTHORIZATIONS.

IDAHO #103

SPRING BLACK BEAR

This excellent outfitter has been in business for almost 40 years and has been featured many times on numerous big name TV hunting shows. We have worked with them for many years, and we have personally hunted with them several times. These guys have been hunting bears over baits since 1979, so they know how to produce trophies for their clients. Success is close to 100%, and they produce about 30% color phase bears. Average size is 5.5’-6.5’, with some 7-footers.

Hunts take place in the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness area, along the Lochsa River. This area is so vast and has such a high bear population that you can take 2 bears on some hunts. Hunts are over bait, from treestands and ground blinds, which you will access by vehicle, on foot, by horseback, or even across the river by raft. This is an any-weapon hunt, so one bear can be taken with a rifle and next with a bow, or even a pistol.

Wolf is an animal of opportunity, as long as you buy the licenses ($31.75)

2026 PRICING (subject to change without notice until deposit received; all prices in USD)
$4500 plus licenses ($41.75 each) and State tax.

ARIZONA #29

TROPHY MOUNTAIN LIONS

Now booking for 2025-2026 season.

This is one of the absolute best houndsman we know of. He is known far and wide as one of the best breeders and cat hound trainers in the West, and he has been doing it for nearly 30 years. His dogs do extremely well on bare ground, given any reasonable set of conditions. In snow, they are superb. Lion hunts are totally dependent on the quality of the dogs! He also has experienced hunting guides, although he conducts most of his hunts himself.

We have been using this outfit for a number of years, and over that time his success has hovered around 95%+, which is about as good as can ever be expected, since bad weather can shut the hunt down. This is an awesome average for wild lions in rough terrain. You are hunting near the famed Kaibab in northern Arizona, in some awesome canyon and mountain country with views that will not quit.

Just $6000 per person for a 5-day cat hunt, or $7,500 per person for a 5-day toms-only hunt, with lodging and lunches included (dinners are at your expense). Guiding is 1x1, plus one helper looking for fresh tracks for you in a different area. Tags/licenses are extra (approx. $250)

Season: November to May

SOUTH DAKOTA #101

HIGH VOLUME SNOW GOOSE HUNT

This terrific multi-species outfitter in northeastern South Dakota has been in business for over 20 years and knows what it takes to make your spring snow goose hunt a memorable one. They utilize huge decoy spreads, electronic calls, comfortable layout blinds and much more. They are full-time guides/outfitters who hunt for a living, and their second-to-none customer service results in a high percentage of repeat clients.

The season only lasts from early March thru early April, and only a small number of groups can be accommodated during this time. And this outfitter is located on one of the largest snow goose flyways during the migration. No one will work harder to give you the best opportunity, and they aren’t afraid to pick up and move the entire spread for the next day’s hunt,

There is no daily or possession limit on snow geese, and you are allowed to hunt with unplugged shotguns. A group size of 6 hunters will allow you to hunt in your own exclusive field, but groups with less than 6 hunters can reserve their exclusive field for an additional charge. If you don’t have 6, you will be combined with other smaller groups to reach the desired number of hunters in each field. Even singles are welcome!

Very few South Dakota snow goose operations provide lodging, but this one does. You can stay in 1 of 5 very nice lodges based on the size of your group. No meals are provided, but there are plenty of dining options about 15 minutes away, or you can prepare your own meals in the lodge’s fully-stocked kitchen.

2-Day Hunt/3 Nights’ Lodging – $680 per person

3-Day Hunt/4 Nights’ Lodging – $950 per person

South Dakota sales tax (6.5%), licenses (approx. $45) and tips are extra. Bird cleaning is not provided (cleaning stations available).

SOUTH AFRICA #256

WE HUNT HERE! FREE RANGE PLAINS GAME SAFARI

Most experienced hunters will tell you that there is no better place in Africa for variety and abundance of plains game species than South Africa, and that there is no better value for your safari dollar.

But ALL of South Africa is high-fenced, right? WRONG!
We work with a premier outfitter in South Africa that is entirely FREE RANGE, and over 1.2 million acres/1,800 sq. miles in different areas of the country. All species hunted (about 35 total) are indigenous, wild and self-sustaining. In addition to plains game, their concessions have Cape buffalo and elephant as well. They also offer muzzleloader and bowhunting, and even some upland birds and waterfowl. They even have fishing, and some great sightseeing and eco tours for the whole family.

There are 3 ways to set up your safari:

Pay a daily rate and then pay a trophy fee for each species taken. Daily rates are only $400/day per person 1x1 or $300/day per person 2x1. Trophy fees start as low as $250.

Allow us to put together an all-inclusive package
for you based on your most desired species. Packages normally offer a 10%-25% discount on the trophy fees included in the package.

Choose from one of their packages (which again normally offer a 10%-25% discount on the trophy fees included in the package). Package pricing includes guiding, food, accommodations and trophy fees, but DOES NOT INCLUDE 15% VAT on the daily rates contained within the package.
