Tampa Bay Lightning, AdventHealth & Tampa YMCA Unite to Support University Area CDC

💙⚡️ We’re proud to highlight our incredible partnership with the Tampa Bay LightningAdventHealth and the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA through the "Patch with a Purpose" program—highlighted by a generous $100,000 donation from the Bolts!

This impactful contribution directly supports our Rehab to Restore HOPE initiative—a program designed to uplift Veterans through a comprehensive, holistic approach to housing that yields benefits across many facetsin particular, positive health outcomes.

As one of the founding partners of the “Patch with a Purpose” program, AdventHealth is committed to focusing on initiatives aimed at improving health and wellness outcomes regionally, and the University Area CDC Rehab to Restore Hope initiative provides just that.

When individuals have a stable place to call home, their health outcomes improve significantly, enabling them to engage fully in their communities, live with dignity, and experience a higher quality and longevity of life. The “Patch with a Purpose” funds will allow us to purchase an additional duplex, or potentially triplex, renovate it, and create more sustainable housing options for our Veteran community.

What makes this donation truly special? It’s the powerful message behind it: a professional sports team giving back to the very community that cheers them on. Thanks to the Lightning’s support, we’re one step closer to building a healthier, more hopeful future for our Veteran residents, and for that we're happy to say, "Thank you and GO BOLTS!"
