Join Amanda Bergson-Shilcock, Director of upskilling policy at the National Skills Coalition (NSC), as she lays the groundwork for how California can ensure WIOA works for all, including immigrants and refugees. Amanda will share resources intended to support frontline workforce staff in facilitating eligible immigrants’ access to public workforce services. We will also be joined by a representative from the Employment Development Department (EDD) who will discuss the Pathways to Services, Referral, and Enrollment Directive ( WSD18-03 ).
