Dear Reader,

We can be perfect in our next life.

In this one, we get to be human and humans make mistakes, eh?

So, what is it you do when you make a mistake?

<Yeah, I know it's very, very seldom.>

You pick yourself up, dust yourself off, clean up any mess, apologize as necessary,
and continue with what you were doing/what's to be done with any fix-up process.

Make sure you "own up" to the "screw up" without beating "yourself up."

And how about when someone else makes a mistake?

You help them with the actions above and remember the key phrase: patience.
Join us Wednesday morning via Skype or in the private room at Corner Bakery Cafe, 7:30 to 8:30 AM and tell us the examples of patience you've encountered?

Successful regard$,

ANNOUNCEMENTS/NOTICES
ON THIS DAY FEBRUARY 10TH
1763
The North American theater of the Seven Years' War comes to an end, with Britain gaining Quebec and Spanish Florida, while Spain acquires Louisiana. Economic losses stemming from the war will help spark world-altering revolutions in both Britain and France.
1846
Fleeing religious persecution that included the assassination of their leader, Joseph Smith, 1,600 members of what will become the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and their new leader, Brigham Young, head west, where they will eventually settle in the Great Salt Lake Valley.
1906
King Edward VII christens a game-changing new class of naval warfare in the HMS Dreadnought, whose armaments, speed, and agility are leagues beyond ships that sailed into battle before.
1972
Rock and roll begins to freak out in a moon-age daydream the moment a slender, pale, androgynous, ginger-haired, and decidedly otherworldly presence steps onto the stage at London's Toby Jug Pub.

TIPS OF THE DAY
You've come up with a bright idea and not sure what to do next or you're starting a new business and have already received suggestions but
want a second opinion?
"Recognized as an industry leader and pioneer in small business incubation" by the National Business Incubation Association and as "One of Houston's core entrepreneurial groups" by the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Ranked "the #1 new business development group in Houston" by Houston Proud!

We are a not-for-profit cooperative association of independent
business owners for market expansion, business development,
entrepreneurial education and professional growth.

We were created from an independent research project of the Houston Chamber of Commerce in the late 1970's on the importance of start-up and emerging small businesses. We brought you Houston's first small business incubator, which became Texas' oldest, the first co-working space in Texas, the first Womens Business Center in the United States and the first Residency Incubator and first Virtual Accelerator Program in the World. Our clients have ranged from pre-start-ups to the largest companies in the United States! We clearly demonstrated that entrepreneurship could be taught and that business plans were not a requirement for a successful business. Our start-ups have won virtually every award in Houston for business growth, some nationally, some even internationally and some of our established client companies are household names in Houston. We operate entirely without grants, gifts, donations or public funding. We don't have our hand out and are NOT your tax dollars at work! We are totally self-sufficient!

We grow companies, build careers and advance ideas!
May we assist with yours?
