NAHAM’s (National Association of Healthcare Access Management) annual Access Week is a long-standing, annual tradition to raise awareness and celebrate Patient Access contributions. Established in 1982, Patient Access Week is a celebration of the people in Patient Access profession. The date marks the anniversary of the founding of the National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM), the only national professional organization dedicated to promoting excellence within the field. Each year, the celebrations span the entire week surrounding the anniversary, April 5.

Challenge:

 Use as many letters of the alphabet to list things found in our workplace. (A template will be sent out)

Activity: Cheers to Your Peers!

Challenge: Share with your team DL - Who has made the biggest impact on your life & why? (It could be someone famous, a family member or a coworker)

Also, on this day you are invited to wear the craziest pair of (work appropriate-designed) socks you own.

The entire week is about unity, harmony and collaboration with our peers . We will provide you with fun activities and challenges to complete through out the week. Take pictures and document your teams celebrating PAS Week. The team with the most creative photos and overall presentation will win.

Purpose:

Encourage active participation in daily PAW activities and challenges.

Rules:

1. All week long take creative pictures of your team completing the activities and challenges assigned for each day.
2. Create 1 - 4 PowerPoint Slides per team (Widescreen) showcasing your team’s participation in chronological order.
3. Slides must Include:

• Pictures of team members
• Team name & location
• Follow COVID 19 Hospital Guidelines (remain social distant and wear PPE)
• Picture should include staff only. (No PHI or patients in the background)

You may begin working on your Virtual VisWall Monday 4/3 - 4/7 EOD (3PM).

All submissions will be reviewed, and the winner will be announced Monday April 10th
