Dear Friends,

Patricia Jaeger of Seattle passed away mid-November of this year. She was a lovely and gentle person. As a driving force in the folk harp movement, she wrote several beginner books for the lap harp. During the early 1970s she pioneered group harp lessons for adults with her books and created a wave of harp activity in the Seattle area. She sold harp strings and published some 20 arrangements under the name of "Herald Music". One of her most popular publications is "20 Carols with a Friend." She was also an accomplished violinist. If you view her obituary, you will see a beautiful picture posed with violin.

I cherish the lovely notes she wrote when we started our store, and when I published my first book of arrangements. She was very kind and encouraging.

Patricia and my harp teacher, Jeanne Henderson, were friends and shared meals at harp conferences. I enjoyed listening to them at the table; their conversations were so interesting.

Read Patricia's Obituary.
