Gary Zelinksi :

A Walk Among Heroes

Gary B. Zelinski will discuss his book, A WALK AMONG HEROES: Searching for America’s Better Angels. Zelinski sheds light on how this hallowed ground and those buried there—privates beside colonels, surgeons and nurses bedside the troops they tried to save, the descendants of slaves beside Confederate soldiers, and wives, sons, and daughters beside loved ones who made the ultimate sacrifice—serves as a lens into what is good in our country.

Gary Zelinski is retired from the United States Air Force after twenty-two years of distinguished service.  He is currently working on a memoir dedicated to his wife, Lillian. She stole his heart when they met as teens, raised their two children, and rose through the ranks to become a vice president for a Fortune 500 tech company.
