Celebrations

Chuseok Moon Festival celebration (Mid Autumn Festival)

The Chuseok Moon Festival, also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival, was a lively event celebrating the ancient East Asian Thanksgiving tradition. Over seventy students joined the festivities enjoying mooncakes, rice-based desserts, boba, and crafts at the MPR after school this Friday. While kids of different ages listened to music and munched on snacks, they had fun folding lanterns, coloring paper wind chimes, and painting and designing their own lanterns. The food was so popular that many even came for thirds! Some kids even joined in dancing to K-pop songs that were played during the event. The adults also enjoyed the festivities—and the food.

Everyone would like to give a warm thanks to Ms. Le, our parent volunteers, and leadership for helping organize this event. We appreciate all that you do for us!
