Eight Grade Promotion Dance
Eight Grade Promotion Dance was held at Harvest Middle School on Friday, May 17. The event was celebrated with dance, food and games. HP-PTSA would like to congratulate all eight graders as they enter the next phase of their lives. HP-PTSA would like to thank all volunteers and school administration for making the event a grand success. Last, but not the least, the HP-PTSA would like to thank the PTSA hospitality team led by Margo Shimy for planning and executing such a grand event.
Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast
HP-PTSA honored all the parents, teachers and staff who volunteered at events this year to make it a very memorable year for the kids at Harvest Park. PTSA also awarded a service award to long time member and hospitality committee chair Margo Shimy.
Volunteers needed for the Beach Boardwalk
10-15 volunteers are needed for the Beach Boardwalk on Tuesday, 5/28. They will be at a table handing out treats. Time of the event is 11:15-1:15. If you are available to volunteer, please reach out to Mr. Dankwardt(gdankwardt@pleasantonusd.net)
Recruiting for PTSA Reflections Chair
The National PTA Reflections Program is an arts recognition and achievement program for students. The Reflections Program provides opportunities for students to express themselves creatively and to receive positive recognition for original works of art inspired by a pre-selected theme while increasing community awareness of the importance of the arts in education.
HP-PTSA is looking for someone in the Harvest Park PTSA community to coordinate the Reflections Program at Harvest Park next year. Full position description is here.
