Volunteer Clearance Procedure for 2024-2025

New AND returning volunteers are required to submit a volunteer clearance application each school year. If you are planning to volunteer during the 2024-25 school year, please submit a volunteer clearance application on or after June 3, 2024.

Returning volunteers: When completing the application, please enter your name exactly as it currently appears in the Raptor system. If you aren’t sure how you should enter your name when applying, please email volunteerclearance@pleasantonusd.net.

TB clearance is required for all volunteers. Returning volunteers may upload the same file that was submitted last year as long as the document was issued by a licensed healthcare provider within the last three years.

Volunteers who will be transporting students as a driver for field trips, extra-curricular activities and/or athletic events must upload a completed driver transportation form and current auto insurance coverage declaration page(s).

PPIE Update

PPIE is a community-based non-profit that partners with families and businesses to enhance learning experiences for all Pleasanton students. We support vital staffing, grants, and programs, such as extra librarian hours, transportation for outdoor education, and student grants. These initiatives are crucial to maintaining the quality of our schools.

With community participation declining, these programs are at risk. If you haven't donated yet, please consider contributing $500 to our Giving Fund. Your donation directly supports staff hours and student programs. You can donate via Future Fund or directly on our website: ppie.org/donate. Thank you to those of you who have donated already this year!

To enhance your donation, please visit our matching gift page to see if your company will match your gift and to access the forms and instructions needed to submit your match.

Thank you for supporting PPIE!
