The teachers sent thank you notes for the Harvest Park PTSA for the well thought out celebration. Thanks to the HP-PTSA hospitality team and the parent community for making last week memorable for the teachers.

PPIE Update

PPIE is looking to grow its volunteer base. If you are interested in working with PPIE and relaying information back to your school community we would love to hear from you. The school-site ambassador program meets every other month to help promote the PPIE's events, communications, and volunteer programs. If you are interested, please reach out to Mindy.Louie@ppie.org, for more information.

PPIE's Grants program would like to highlight a teacher grant awarded to Christine Fitzsimmons, of Alisal Elementary, purchased multiple types of blocks and creative building materials. Now students begin each day with their choice of building supplies, warming up to the day. These "Morning Bins" have proven helpful and engaging to the students because they serve as a fun way to kickstart each day at school, allowing our students to arrive and settle in, while also encouraging social exchange between students.

These grants are made possible by MetCon-Ti, Safeway Foundation, and Save Mart Companies C.A.R.E.S. Foundation.
