Volunteer Clearance Procedure for 2024-2025

New AND returning volunteers are required to submit a volunteer clearance application each school year. If you are planning to volunteer during the 2024-25 school year, please submit a volunteer clearance application on or after June 3, 2024.

Returning volunteers: When completing the application, please enter your name exactly as it currently appears in the Raptor system. If you aren’t sure how you should enter your name when applying, please email volunteerclearance@pleasantonusd.net.

TB clearance is required for all volunteers. Returning volunteers may upload the same file that was submitted last year as long as the document was issued by a licensed healthcare provider within the last three years.

Volunteers who will be transporting students as a driver for field trips, extra-curricular activities and/or athletic events must upload a completed driver transportation form and current auto insurance coverage declaration page(s).

PPIE Update

For the 24/25 school year, Pleasanton Partnerships in Education is proud to support the following at Harvest Park Middle. With your support, PPIE aims to raise $850,000 to enhance student-focused programs throughout the district. This includes providing targeted support to elementary schools, expanding wellness programs at middle and high schools, and supporting our student and teacher grants program. Every donation, large or small, helps make an impact and we appreciate your support.

  • Student Intervention specialist Cynthia Bonar for Flex Time learning and reading support for our students
  • Extra daily hours for librarian Stephen Corbalis to keep the library open for students to access the library benefits
  • District-wide Wellness and Mental Health Support to coordinate student programming across the school district, including direct investment in the Nest.
  • PPIE Grants Program, which annually supports teachers, students, events, and student organizations

Each year, PPIE donates more to our schools than we receive from families by utilizing company matching and direct support from our business partners! Please visit our updated company matching directory here for an easy way to maximize your donation.

Pleasanton Partnerships in Education is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization (Fed ID #94-3046738). For over 35 years, PPIE has been committed to raising additional funding to ensure all students receive an exceptional education.
