Synthetic Turf Replacement Project

Pardon our dust, but we must replace the synthetic turf at Promontory Community Park! The current synthetic field is over 12-years old. The benefits of replacing the synthetic field include; better field drainage, safer playing surface for users, new underlayment padding and continued year-round use.

We are excited to welcome the 30 goats out at Wild Oak Park! The park will remain open, but for safety reasons, we do ask that visitors to the park leave the goats alone while they work. There's an unofficial goat meme contest happening around the EDHCSD. The benefits of using goats might surprise you. See the full list here.

Volunteers will be needed for the installation of the New York Creek Interpretive Signs. A film crew may be out with staff + volunteers to capture the work. The signs are expected to be ready for install mid-July. Details will be posted to the Volunteerhub.com as they become available.

New this year to Summer Concert Series, the District has implemented a recycling program for all the summer concerts, so please help us Recycle Right by placing appropriate items in their proper bin.
