the Book Bash and Bernice Yeung Book Chat

What happens when you cross a cocktail party with the best book sale ever? The Book Bash! This November 21st gathering kicks off Book Fair weekend and raises money to support our programs.

In a Day's Work, Bernice Yeung's searing account of sexual harassment and exploitation in the service industry, won our Stephan Russo Book Prize for Social Justice in 2018. Yeung will be at the Bernie Wohl Center to discuss the issue - and how women are organizing to fight back - on November 14th.

Help Everyone in the Community Have a Home-Cooked Holiday Meal!

Each year our volunteers cook and serve a delicious homemade meal to thousands of community members on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Donate today to ensure we have enough turkey and trimmings for all!
