Item #1. Victorian Silk Embroidered Tobacco Wall Hanging - $135.00
This is a beautiful embroidered silk wall hanging extolling the virtues of all forms of tobacco. Large format 22 ½” by 22 ½”. In excellent condition with no damage. Light creases in fabric. Depicts images of various pipes, cigars, cigarettes, and matches. Probably dates from 1880-1900.

Features the following poem:

I build my castles in the air
They end in smoke
But I don’t care

The poem, which was adapted from an old French idiom, appears to be original to this piece  This is a one-of-a-kind charming work of art from Victorian times!
Item #2. Mackie's White Horse Cellar Glass Matchstick Holder - $135.00
Heavy glass Mackie’s White Horse Cellar whisky matchstick holder. Early 20th century. In good condition with the exception of paint loss. No cracks or chips. Ground base. 3 ¾” across by 2 ¼” tall.
Item #3. 1920's Goerz Barometer - $250.00
A unique table barometer (No. 26912) with hidden aneroid mechanism manufactured by C.P. Goerz, Berlin. Measures 3.25" wide by 6.5" high. This historically important barometer has a dial plate printed in German between two glass plates indicating low- and high-pressure measurements. A pointer on the dial is connected to the aneroid system through a tiny chain and a thin wire. The range on the dial is from 27.9 to 31.1 inches. The company of C. P. Goerz, started in 1886 in a single room in Friedenau-Berlin, Germany, by manufacturing lenses as their prime business. They became a major manufacturer of Camera lenses, Barometers, Altimeters, Binoculars etc. with over 3,000 employees in the lifetime of the founder. After his death in 1926 they merged with three other firms to form Zeiss-Ikon. Seems to be functional but sold as is.
Item #4. "Going to Market" Card Game - $17.00
This card game, manufactured in 1915, includes great graphic depictions of 13 prominent brands with 4 different products from each brand for a total of 52 different graphics. Brands include Western Electric, Post, Knox, Walk-Over Shoes, Welch, Sherwin-Williams, Kelly-Springfield, and more. The deck includes the box, all 52 playing cards and an instruction card. Condition issues are present including general wear, soiling, and a couple of cards with minor tears.
Item #5. Elmwood Collar Box - $32.00
Classic Victorian lithography distinguishes this charming advertising box that held Elmwood Collars. Patented in 1871. Probably dates to 1870’s-80’s. Measures 4 ¼” by 4 ¼” by 2 ½”. Some foxing and other minor condition issues, as shown in photos. Was lovingly stitched on the bottom many years ago to preserve its functionality.
Item #6. Small Oak Display Case - $75.00
This oak display case with six compartments probably dates from 1920-1940. Measures 10 ½” across, 7 ½” deep, 2 ¾’ tall in back, and 1 ¾” tall in front. Has drawer in back. Perfect size for those smalls.
Item #7. Four Sweet Burley Tobacco Packs - $24.00 for all
Four unopened Sweet Burley tobacco packs for one price. Each measures 3 ¼” by 2 ½” by 1”. Good condition except minor foxing as seen in photos. Probably date from 1940’-50’s. No US tax stamps.  
Item #8. Colonial Dame 5 Lb. Coffee Tin Pail - $90.00
Very nice Colonial Dame coffee tin with bail. 5 lb. size. Very hard to find. 8” x 7 ¾”. Beautiful lithography.
Item #9. Lenox Brand Whisky Back Bar Bottle - $80.00
Very nice cut-glass Lenox Whisky bottle with early ground pontil. 10 ½” tall. 1880-90’s. No chips, cracks, nicks, or scratches.
Item #10. Glass Ice Cream Cone Holder - $25.00
Used to hold ice cream cones when bringing them to tables in soda fountains. 5” tall, x 2 ¼”. Circa 1900-1920. Excellent condition.
Item #11. Dr. T. W. Graydon Wooden Hinged Store Container - $40.00
For quack medicine. 9” x 4 ½” x 3 ½”. Great condition except slightly curled lid. Circa 1910-20.
Item #12. Strychnine Nitrate Corker Bottle - $30.00
Miniature bottle of Strychnine Nitrate. 2” X 1”. Manufactured by Burroughs Brothers. Circa 1910-20. Virtually mint condition. No contents.

Item #14. Spout for Soda Fountain Essence Bottle - $27.00
Spout used to pour flavorings for soda fountain creations. This one is 2 ¼” long in total. Metal section is 1 5/8”. Cork has a maximum diameter of 1” and a minimum diameter of around 5/8”.  Early 20 Century.
Item 15. Foldable Advertising Coat Hanger 1914 - $22.00
Very cleverly designed and well manufactured foldable coat hanger. Patent date 1914. Complements Worcester Salt Co., New York and other Cities. Approximately 3" by 16" fully extended.
