Paul Michienzie, Co-Founder of Michienzie & Sawin LLC Joins Luks and Santaniello, LLC to Open Boston Office
Boston - November 1, 2023. Paul Michienzie, Co-Founder of Michienzie & Sawin LLC and Co-Managing Partner for the past 23 years, is joining Luks and Santaniello, LLC to open its first Boston office. Paul Michienzie, Esq., will be the Boston Managing Partner. The Boston office will start with a team of 5 attorneys including Jason Caron, Adam Brandon, Melissa Rich and David Yunghans. The office has attorneys admitted to practice in both state and federal courts in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Maine, Vermont (federal court), Rhode Island (state court), New Jersey (state court) and New York (state court).

Luks and Santaniello will have over 190 attorneys in 12 offices across Florida and Boston, Massachusetts. The Boston office is located in the heart of Copley Square on 745 Boylston Street - Suite 501, 4.5 miles from Boston Logan International Airport and is 1.9 miles from Suffolk County Superior Courthouse. A Parking garage is available across the street from the office. 

“This is a great marriage,” said Daniel Santaniello, Firm-Wide Managing Partner. “With my deep roots to the North End, this is a personal dream fulfilled.” Dan Santaniello has been admitted to practice law in Massachusetts since 1990. He was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts where he obtained his Bachelor of Science from Northeastern University. Much of his family still resides in New England, including his oldest daughter. 

Michienzie and Luks and Santaniello share many of the same clients and have worked together in The Gavel Nationwide Claims Defense Network for the last seven years.   Michienzie, a double BC “Eagle”, has over 36 years of Insurance Defense Litigation experience in Products Liability, Construction Defects, Premises Liability, General Liability, Insurance Coverage and Environmental Liability matters. The Michienzie team also brings significant trial and appellate experience.

Paul Michienzie is AV Preeminent® Rated.  Prior to founding Michienzie & Sawin LLC, he had practiced at several major prestigious Boston Law Firms and also worked as in-house counsel at General Cinema Corporation where he oversaw outside counsel. Paul concentrates his practice in insurance defense, and represents manufacturers, suppliers, design professionals, construction companies and other businesses against claims of negligence, bad faith, breach of warranty, products liability, construction defect and premises liability in large-loss and complex, multi-party cases.  He is a graduate of Boston College (A.B., magna cum laude) and Boston College Law School (J.D.).

Daniel Santaniello is a Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial Expert and AV Preeminent® Rated with over 33 years of insurance defense litigation experience and more than 100 jury verdicts. He leads the firm’s “Parachute Trial” team for 7 and 8 figure trials throughout Florida and in other states. Dan founded Luks and Santaniello in 1995, which has grown from two lawyers to a 190 attorney trial firm that provides insurance and corporate defense in over 33 practice areas. The firm also has several strategic and innovative practice areas including a dedicated Time and Policy Limit Demands and Tenders Practice Group, a Surgical LOP Abuse Practice and an SIU Fraud Special Investigations Practice that handle a number of specialized issues. Luks and Santaniello bring a large services infrastructure to its client base and employees that include 3 dedicated Attorney Compliance Managers, a Strategic Mentoring and Training Partner, an Analytics and Metrics Director and Client Relations Director as part of its Claim's Portfolio Management Strategy.
