My last day as Chair of the National Board of the World Affairs Councils of America is June 30.
For four years
from 2011-2015, I have had the honor of serving in this leadership role. Thank you for this wonderful privilege.
WACA is a remarkable institution and the extraordinary people who make it up -- you -- are committed to fulfilling its noble goals of educating the American public on a wide range of foreign policy issues and advocating robust debates that better inform our policy-makers and the public.
Significantly, the organization is having an impact in so many concrete ways. One program which is truly a cornerstone is WorldQuest. The next generation matters. WACA has provided valuable opportunities and
experiences for younger people and has expanded their knowledge of international affairs. Our investment in their future is crucial and wise.
Thank you Bill for your dedicated service and a hearty welcome to Roman!
