BRITISH COLUMBIA & YUKON
Joanne Rowat regularly comes to a drop-in class in Chilliwack, BC and she has created quite a few sculptures. Every sculpture gets attention down to the last detail. Joanne searches for the right boots, skates and hats for each of her pieces.
Slowly the sculptures are getting bigger and bigger. The other ladies at the drop in know "Wally the fisherman" and one way or the other they all had their hands on Wally especially when it was time to put his clothes on :). She just finished her work on the famous Canadian skater and Olympic champion Barbara Ann Scott.

ATLANTIC CANADA
Hello to all you Paverpollers...here some news from the Maritimes :
As a CPI I am currently involved in a LEAP [Learning Elderly Arts Program]in the Garden Home in Charlottetown that is sponsored by the PEI
Department of Culture and Tourism and the PEI Senior Citizen Federation to connect Island Artists with the Seniors on PEI. The project I picked was to make an Art Stone Horse and Flowers on canvas. They will display the Artwork during an open house in March. The seniors are impressed with what they can make from old T-shirt!
There will also be a Paverpol exhibit at the Eptek Centre in Summerside for the whole month of March with Paverpol demonstrations during the exhibition. Carol Karr, Sophie Lafrance and I will display some of our most favorite pieces. A Paverpol kit worth $ 75 for making the Styrofoam horse will be the prize to win for visitors of the exhibition.
There will be a CPI course in the spring of 2013. Exact date to be announced.
Greetings from the distributor in Atlantic Canada, Dina Blot.

ONTARIO
Hello Paverpol friends We're planning new workshops and events for 2013! Of course there is our Gallery and we have exiting new courses for you. Do you have an ugly casing pipe sticking out of your well on your property? We have a course to make a 6' tall sculpture to hide it!! April 6-7. We have a big project waiting in our front lawn. We have a life size elephant made by an artist here in Spencerville. This artist used a frame of 2 by fours and chicken wire covered with burlap and epoxy. The combination off burlap and epoxy was not good enough, we are going to be finishing it in Paverpol to make it weather proof.
September 14th and 15th we host the Spencerville small town big Art Festival on our 28 acre property. Artists are welcome to bring their own tent and show there artwork. Details will be posted on our website soon or if you want more information now, just send us an email or give us a call. More new workshops; check out our website! Thecla and Herman Kluck.
The next Certified Instructors course is March 16-17 (Spencerville) or May 25-26 (Peterborough area). For more info kluckdutchhill@jcis.ca
