Work continues to move forward on the E Ave/Stoney Point Rd project. We wanted to provide you with an update on traffic control changes. 

 

Opening 

 

Stoney Point Road, between E Avenue and Cherry Hill Park, will reopen to traffic by Friday evening (April 26). This includes the entrance to Cherry Hill Park. The Cherry Hill Park entrance will remain open for the remainder of the summer. 

 

Elsewhere, pavement work is wrapping up between Limerock Dr. and 80th Street, and is anticipated to open mid-May.

 

Closures  

 

Starting Monday, April 29, E Avenue will close between Limerock Dr. and Stoney Point Rd for underground utility work. This section will remain closed for the remainder of the summer. 

Residents off Bluestone can continue to follow the posted detour (the intersection of Bluestone and E Avenue remains open). 

 

Future Work

 

Work at the intersection of E Avenue and Stoney Point Rd is tentatively scheduled to begin Monday, June 6, for construction of the roundabout. This closure will remain in place the duration of the summer.
