Forest Drive: Mt. Vernon Rd to Grande Ave

Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin on Monday, April 22 for the Forest Drive project (weather pending).

Work will begin at the intersection of Mt Vernon Rd and Forest Drive, and will focus first on water main improvements and storm sewer installation.

Property owners will be permitted to use Forest Drive to access their homes, but all other traffic is required to detour.

There may be only one lane of traffic open at a time; please use caution and yield to oncoming traffic when approaching lane closures.

The project is anticipated to be completed this fall.

Memorial: Bever Ave to Mt. Vernon Road

No major changes in this section, the contractor continues to work on water main, retaining wall, and hopefully next week - sidewalk ramps (weather pending).

Memorial: Mt. Vernon to McCarthy

Starting on Friday, April 19, the work zone will be extended and include the segment between McCarthy Road and Mt. Vernon Rd. Residents can still access their homes via Mt. Vernon Rd; all other thru traffic is required to detour. The contractor continues to work on pavement milling.
