Pavement work on H Avenue / 16th Street is expected to be completed by the end of the week. The road will open to traffic in approximately two weeks, after work is completed at H Avenue/Maplewood Drive, and the north leg of the H Avenue/16th Street intersection. This will conclude some of the more significant traffic impacts on the project this year.

Crews are also working on the remainder of the new 10’ wide trail, and will have that completed by the end of the week.

Business Updates

The parking lot north of H Avenue and adjacent to Maplewood Drive for O’Malley’s will be under construction the beginning of next week. While this work is underway, patrons can use the larger parking lot on the corner of H Avenue and 16th Street. The new driveway for Treehouse is expected to be open for use by the end of next week. 

As the project wraps up, remaining work includes sidewalk and restorative items such as sodding.
