Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill Speaks at Family Promise
|
|
Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill recently visited Family Promise to announce her support of the Homeless Children and Youth Act (HCYA), which will help improve access to federal programs for families and children experiencing homelessness. HCYA will also help promote opportunities for organizations and communities to address homelessness affecting youth.
Also in attendance was Homeless Solutions, Jersey Battered Women's Shelter, and the Morris County Housing Alliance, all of whom had been working on the HCYA, along with Family Promise, for the past five years.
We are thrilled to have Congresswoman Sherrill's incredible support for those we serve!

Redeemer Lutheran Church has been supporting Family Promise and those we serve for two decades! They are a host congregation for our Emergency Shelter Program and have welcomed and cared for individuals and families in their time of need.
The warmth, generosity, and kindness of the Redeemer volunteers is what stands out most for many of our shelter graduate families.
Thank you Redeemer Lutheran Church for your outstanding support!
