The Sun has Set on 2020, but the Journey Home Continues!
Butte Humane Society (BHS) recently received a boost to The Journey Home capital campaign in the form of a $135,000 gift to be used toward the on-going construction of their new animal shelter from the Chuck Patterson family & dealership!

“This generous gift, in honor of Sharon Patterson, recognizes the important place animals hold in our lives and our communities,” says Katrina Woodcox, Executive Director for the organization. “The generosity of the Patterson family and Toyota will help us complete construction on our new facility so that BHS can protect and care for animals in need throughout Butte, Glenn and Tehama counties for decades to come... We’ve made fantastic progress on the building, but due to the pandemic and recent wildfires, fundraising for all nonprofits has been tough - including BHS - and we still have a gap to close,” says Woodcox. “We invite the community to join us on the final leg of the journey to our forever home and make a donation to help us cross the finish line!"
